Went to one on Carmel Mountain Road for the first time today, craving a yummy breakfast bagel sandwich. It looked tasty enough on their website, and we didn't feel like driving too far for breakfast, so we decided to give it a shot. Got a Denver breakfast sandwich on whole wheat, and an Egg & Cheese with Sausage on jalapeno. Sadly to say, the bagels tasted like they'd been left out for a few days, the sausage was incredibly salty, and the eggs were fake (come on, even Jack in the Box croissant sandwich has a real egg in it). Sorely disappointed. Sorry Bruegger's, I won't be back.

aw, sorry to hear that - brueggers was one of my fave bagel places in boston. and jack in the box has real eggs b/c they got in trouble a while back for their fake eggs or so the rumor goes...at least there are 2 other meals in the day that you can make up for it!
